Assistant Principal's Message
|
Heavenly Father, You chose the Virgin Mary to be the mother of your Son, and through her, you have given us the gift of salvation. As we celebrate the Assumption, may we follow her example of faith, humility, and obedience. Grant us the grace to seek your will in all things and to look forward to the day when we too will share in the glory of the resurrection. |

Dear Parents and Carers,
On Thursday we will commemorate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary by attending mass together. Mary, through her unwavering faith and obedience to God’s will, became the mother of Jesus. So close to Jesus was she on earth, that she was granted the privilege of being with him body and soul in heaven. The humility that Mary showed in her commitment to Jesus and God’s will is something we can strive for and nurture in ourselves and our children. We aim to teach and model to our students that humility means respecting others and understanding that everyone in our community has something valuable to offer. Our true character as a person is how we treat and value those around us.

Wear It Wild and Helicopter Visit Friday
On Friday, we have several exciting events scheduled. Wear it Wild day is an initiative to raise money for World Wildlife Fund. Students have been learning about endangered species in their Sustainability and Science lessons, they are invited to dress as their favourite endangered animal and bring a gold coin donation.
On Friday, we are also expecting a Defence Force helicopter to land on our school oval. Students will have the opportunity to watch the helicopter land, tour the inside, and then watch it depart after the second break.
